• How can I get tickets to a Port City Music Hall show?
You can purchase tickets online by clicking the “tickets” icon on any show page on our site and will be taken to the Ticketmaster site. Purchase over the phone by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.  Tickets to State Theatre shows are also sold in person only at the Port City Music Hall box office, Wednesday-Friday 10am-5pm,  free of service charges. If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show beginning one hour before doors open.  Cash and credit cards accepted.  Remember, we want you to come to our shows so if you have a problem purchasing tickets please call the box office at 207-956-6000 or Ticketmaster before throwing your laptop in the garbage.  Also, we recommend only buying through the above sources – do not trust or rely on tickets/promises sold by 3rd party vendors!!!

Is there an age-restriction policy at Port City Music Hall?
Port City Music Hall is typically an 18+ venue (with occasional All Ages shows). Minors (under 18) may come to Port City Music Hall under the supervision of a parent and/or legal guardian. Everyone entering the venue will need to present a valid government-issued photo ID: driver’s license, passport, military ID. Minors may be required to furnish a birth certificate. Children 2 and under are allowed in at no charge (with a parent of course).

What is your refund policy?
Refunds are not available for ticket purchases. All sales are final. In the event that a show is canceled, refunds will be available at your point of purchase. Otherwise, please review ticket-ordering information carefully prior to ticket purchase. Port City Music Hall will not refund or exchange tickets, unless an event is canceled. Dates, times, and exact billing of concert subject to change without notice. Care for your tickets like cash. Port City Music Hall is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or destroyed tickets will not be replaced or refunded, including tickets lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or destroyed during delivery to ticket purchaser.

Can I record shows, take photos or shoot video at Port City?
For the most part NO. Professional photography/video recording IS NOT allowed without a photo pass. Audio recording IS allowed on a show-by-show basis: if the band is cool with taping then we are, too. Port City reserves the right determine what is and is not professional photography.

Can I bring my backpack into Port City?
No, backpacks are not allowed. And neither are outside food or beverages. For your safety, all bags and patrons are subject to search. Coat check is available for bags and large coats.

Does Port City allow re-entry at ticketed performances?
Yes, re-entry is allowed at most shows. There are exceptions, so please check with the box office on the night of the event.

Does Port city have seating?
All shows at Port City are generally standing-room only unless otherwise noted. Preferred seating is reserved or open on a show-by-show basis.

What is the preferred-seating area all about?
The preferred-seating area is the only guaranteed seating in the venue. Capacity is limited to 50 patrons in a raised seating area offering prime sight lines to the stage. Seating is on comfortable stools with backs, around bistro tables. Seating is at four-top tables and are on a first come, first served basis. Come early to enjoy dedicated cocktail service and tasty selections from our new dining menu!

Yes! We offer a full menu of tasty fare.

What time do shows start at Port City?
All shows start one hour after the the doors open, unless otherwise noted. All times listed on this Web site are DOOR times. Check the Web site to be sure and feel free to call and ask: 207-956-6000.

What are the closest accommodations to Port City Music Hall?
The Holiday Inn by the Bay is the closest hotel to the venue. It overlooks both the city and beautiful Casco Bay, and it has a pool.
