Juliette Lewis

Oscar-nominated Juliette Lewis has been recognized as one of Hollywood's most talented actors of her generation through her work with A-list directors such as Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, Lasse Hallstrom, and Oliver Stone. 

In 2004, she took a three-year hiatus from acting to launch her music career, releasing three full-length albums that showcased her serious chops and punk sensibility. She fronted Juliette and the Licks until 2009 when she has formed a new band called The New Romantiques. Her most recent disc with them is Terra Incognita, produced by Omar Rodriquez-Perez, the Grammy-award winning leader of The Mars Volta. 

The Boston Herald compares her to a young Patti Smith. Blender magazine praises her "sonically varnished melodic punk replete with purring vocals and lyrics that bash porn, pharmaceutical companies and rotten lovers (in no particular order)."
